New moon is good for all practices. Very auspicious. This particular Solar Eclipse is, according to NASA:
“Visible in Asia, E. Indies, Australia, Philippines. N.Z.
[Hybrid: Indonesia, Australia, Papua New Guinea]”
Solar eclipse on this day. This is according to Lama Zopa Rinpoche of FPMT:
“The karmic results are multiplied by one hundred million on solar eclipses and by seven hundred thousand on lunar.”
