5 Mother Mantras in 9 Minutes: Conquers Anger, Greed, Attachment, Ignorance and Jealousy

MANTRAS OF THE FIVE WISDOM MOTHERS, 7 TIMES EACH, fully animated! A DAILY PRACTICE OF WISDOM and ACTIVITY of the BUDDHAS.
Practicing the 5 Mother Mantras with Mindfulness as a daily, short practice can overcome these five poisons that cause all of the suffering in our world. As we chant, in Sanskrit, take Refuge in the Five Mothers: the Enlightened Mothers of the Five Buddha Families.
Video (9 minutes) with visualizations and mantras:
- Akasha Datvisvari White Tara overcomes Ignorance with the Wisdom of Purified Awareness (Dharmadatu)
- Green Tara overcomes jealousy with All Accomplishing Wisdom
- Lochana overcomes anger with Mirror-Like Wisdom
- Mamaki overcomes greed with the Wisdom of Equality
- Pandara Vashini overcomes attachment with the Wisdom of Discernment
In this short daily 9-minute chant (7 times for each Mother) we meditate on these wisdoms and the activities that demonstrate the wisdoms (for example, practicing generosity is the activity of the Wisdom of Equality — the wisdom of Mamaki.)
Practicing the 5 Mothers Daily is a beautiful daily reminder of the 5 Wisdoms, the power of the 5 virtues and the 5 Wisdoms. The mantras empower our day with these wisdoms.
