Ushnisha Vijaya Sutra and Dharani
Eliminates 6 Types of Suffering in 6 Realms
Dharani for the Six Types of Suffering
The Dharani of Ushnisha Vijaya, taught by Shakyamuni Buddha, overcomes Six Types of Suffering in the Six Realms, which are manifested in the poisons afflicting the Six Realms. It helps us overcome the six sufferings:
- The suffering of war, anger, conflict caused by the poison of anger – in the human and Hell realms.
- The suffering of poverty and hunger caused by the poison of Greed – in the human and Hungry Ghost Realm.
- The suffering and poison of Inorance – in the human and Animal Realm.
- The suffering caused by the poison of Jealousy – in the human and demi-god Asura realm
- The suffering of clinging and attachments – in the human and heavenly or Deva Realm.
- And the sixth suffering, is the collective suffering of the uniquely human ten poisons of: greed, hatred, delusion, conceit, wrong views, doubt, torpor, restlessness, shamelessness and recklessness, uniquely all suffered together in the human realm.
Chanting the Dharani and mantra daily is an important way to purify your suffering and any negative karma that ripens in this life and next due to these poisons. Reciting the Sutra is also an important purifying practice.
Here we provide PDF downloads of Pujas, Practices, Sadhanas, and Sutras for recitation:
