🌟 Refuge in 3 Jewels
Tri ratnaṁ śaraṇaṁ prapadye haṁ
Sarvaṁ pāpaṁ prakā śayāmi
Sattvānāṁ puṇya sandohaṁ
Hṛṣṭa citto’bhinan dāmi
I go for refuge to the Three Jewels,
And confess each of my negative actions,
I rejoice in the virtues of migrating beings,
And hold with my mind a Buddhas’ enlightenment.
Buddhaṁ dharmaṁ gaṇuttamaṁ ca
Yāvad bodhiṁ śaraṇaṁ vrajāmi
Svapa rārtha siddhyarthaṁ
Bodhicittaṁ bhāvayāmi
To Buddha, Dharma, and the Supreme Assembly
I go for refuge until I am enlightened,
And to accomplish the welfare of myself and others
I will generate the mind of enlightenment.
(Chorus is Seed syllables of the 5 Buddha Families)
oṃ āḥ hūṃ hrīḥ traṃ
🌟 Bodhichitta Affirmation:
Utpādya bodhicittaṁ śreṣṭhaṁ
Sarva sattvān atithīn hva yāmi
Bodhilīlā mano ramāṁ ca
Sattva hitāya buddho bhavāmi
Having generated the mind of supreme enlightenment,
I shall invite all living beings to be my guest
To engage in the pleasing, supreme practices of enlightenment.
May I attain Buddhahood to benefit living beings.

🌟 Confessing Faults:
Anādikā lasaṁ citaṁ yat
Kilbi ṣaṁ pātakāś ca doṣāḥ
Sūtra tantra yāna sambhavā
Sarvāṁstān viṣṇum pratiśo dhayāmi
Whatever non-virtue, downfalls, and degenerations
I have accumulated since beginningless time
Especially those of the Sutra and Tantric Vehicle,
I confess all without exception, and promise to refrain.
