Symbols: Nagas and Dragons, Wish-granting Pearl or Jewel, sometimes the Stupa, Red for “control” and to signify he is the upholder of Metta or loving-kindness, overcoming the poison of Attachment and clinging.
Upholder of Metta: He embodies and protects the Buddhist virtue of universal loving-kindness.
Sovereign of Nagas: As ruler of serpent deities, he commands powerful earthly and spiritual forces.
Dharma Defender: Sworn to shield all sincere followers of the Buddha’s path.
